Place the shapes to match how they'll be placed on the shirt.

Mark where the vinyl will be on the material.

(If you're ironing it onto a shirt, you can wear the shirt, hold the shapes where they should go, and put some tape at certain positions.)

Lay the material flat and verify the position is correct.

Start with the handles by removing all other shapes.

Remove the markers since you don't want to iron over those.

Set your iron to NOT steam the fabric.

Set your iron to the highest setting.

Cover the shape with parchment paper.

Place the iron on the vinyl for about 20 seconds.

When the plastic sheet is cool enough to touch, carefully peel it back. If the vinyl hasn't adhered to the material, iron again for 10 seconds.

Place the casting shapes on the material in the correct position. If either of them overlaps onto the other's plastic sheet, trim the plastic sheet. It's ok if the plastic sheet goes over other parts of the design. Just don't iron anything ONTO the plastic sheet.

Cover with the baking sheet again and iron for 20 seconds. Try to avoid ironing over the handles again.

Remove the plastic sheet.
